Jack to Normal

So we made it home on Monday & have spent the last couple of days just enjoying being back.  Jack continues to be side effect free but tires easily.  Tomorrow, we return to STL for an outpatient visit to Siteman for labs & a quick infusion of IV chemo (luckily, the “easy” kind).  Hoping, it’ll be quick & we can enjoy STL for a minute before we come back home.  Between now & his inpatient chemo, we’re at Siteman every Tuesday & Friday for labs, infusions & appointments with his oncology team.  On the 20th, we return for what we hope is his last round of chemo.  It’s our old enemy, methotrexate,  but we’ve got a few “tricks” to help us prepare.   Fingers crossed that it won’t be as harsh this time.  Until then, we’re going to enjoy our time at home.  Planning to watch the T. Swift & Travis Bowl on Sunday.  Finally, a little romance to enhance an event that was previously just snacks & commercials.  Go Chiefs & Boo to whatever other team is playing!
