Jack to Normal

Jack continues to do well. He’s come thru the 1st round like a champ! Some GI discomfort, but it’s been manageable. He still has a really good appetite. We watch a lot of food shows (Cut Throat Kitchen, The Bear, etc.), and he says he may take up cooking as a new hobby. I wouldn’t be sad if he took over that job in the future! Today, he was so glad to be untethered from an IV today that he took a walk around the unit. He has a quick 10-minute infusion tomorrow & then he’s on break until Christmas (not the Christmas present I’d ask for)😔. Another lumbar puncture is scheduled on Friday (#4 or 5?). Overall, he’s doing well. Fingers crossed that continues as we proceed thru this process. Hope you all are ready for the holidays & have plans to celebrate with friends & family. We’re planning to do the same…just in a different venue. As always, thank you for the love, prayers & positive vibes!
