Hair today, gone tomorrow

So, in an effort to address one of the major side effects of chemo on his own terms, Jack requested a haircut. And nothing screams Christmas fun like haircuts, right? So for about twenty minutes the bathroom in room 8820 was turned into a barber shop and by the end of it we had a happy customer. He reports feeling 10 lbs lighter & from the amount of hair shorn, I’d say he’s correct! As always, it’s very important he looks good for the annual Christmas photo. Reviewing the results, we’d say “mission accomplished”!

Update time…. Things are pretty quiet as we wind down to the last treatment on the schedule. Last up is some chemo scheduled for Christmas Day (nothing says Christmas like chemo!). Then, by the looks of it, we’ve got a whole lot of nothing. While we wait for information on our next round of treatment, we’re going to enjoy the holiday with the family. Keep it on the down low, but we may sneak in some “special” eggnog to make the day a bit merrier! Hope all of you have a fantastic holiday & spend time with the folks you love. Merry Christmas!!! 🎄
